For all new features we build an API for that service, then consume our own API to deliver the new feature. This powers what we feel is an unparalleled level of data available via API which can be directly integrated with your sources of truth. From HR systems to financial ERP’s or even asset record management systems Fleetsu’s extensive API support can provide real time critical insights into the tools you are using today. ### API Format The API is organised around [REST](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Representational_state_transfer). Our REST URls return [JSON-encoded](https://www.json.org/json-en.html) responses. Standard HTTP Response codes are returned on all requests. Ensure a Header Value Key = "Accept" Value = "application/json" All API Requests must be made over [HTTPS](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTPS) # Authentication The API uses [HTTP Basic Authentication](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_access_authentication) use your platform username and password to authenticate.
